Antigrafs // photo series
Broad swatches of color intended to ‘erase’ graffiti-adorned walls become an abstract visual language of form, color and texture in this series. These over-paintings (or Antigrafs), intended to eradicate one visual expression, succeed in creating abstract visual expressions in their own right. The result is a visual dialogue on urban surfaces, each expression contributing to, and informing the next expression.
