SFO: A Pictorial History of the Airport // book design
The history of SFO parallels the history of aviation. This book tells the story from humble beginnings to the modern day major airport through a running narrative of personal testimonies and artifacts from the San Francisco Airport Museum archives. This visual narrative is also reflected in the typography, with period-related choices to accent the airport’s history.
